Lost in a Fairytale….

Working with balletLORENT on the third of their fairytale ballet’s has been a pleasure.

The Newcastle based company produce beautiful work for families and they embody the ethos of truly egalitarian work that we here at makesthree love!

Rumpelstiltskin is the final part of a triology which has included Rapunzel and Snow White. Liv Lorent’s choreography and vision has got ever more complex throughout with this production including an intergenerational cast of young children and an older cast who were recruited from a local “knit & natter” group.

The theatre was packed and the audiences moved by the great beauty and humanity of the work which includes a brilliant scenario by Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy and moving score by Murray Gold (Dr Who composer).

Local North East Family blogger Samantha summarises the production rather beautifully here.
